Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Long Trail (Dorset, VT), 86-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, Proctor upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Phantoms host White River Valley (Royalton, VT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-1. White River Valley won 77-50 in their recent league bout against Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT)

Next up, the play the Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D bout, on Friday, December 29. Long Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 47-44 non-league win over Mill River (North Clarendon, VT).
