Illinois High School Basketball - Mascoutah can't hold off Nashville

The Nashville Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Mascoutah Indians to 46 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wethersfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Nashville will battle a Flying Geese team coming off a 79-76 league win over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Flying Geese record now stands at 5-6.

The Indians (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bowen (Chicago, IL). The Boilermakers enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Bowen was nudged by Breese Central (Breese, IL), 74-45, in a non-league contest.
