The Plainfield Panthers basketball team (Central Village, CT), was toppled 76-61 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT)

The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard Ellis Tech for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Tourtellotte will confront a Eagles team coming off a 64-44 non-league loss to Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Lyman Memorial beat Killingly (Killingly, CT), 52-38, in a non-league battle.
