In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), by a margin of 48-36.
The Indians (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Bland County thwarted Galax (Galax, VA), 61-51, in a league outing.
