Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), 55-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Scranton upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Holy Cross won 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Scranton Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bucks go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
