The Mattoon Greenwave basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Tuscola Warriors to 30 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Greenwave now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Mattoon will battle a Tigers team coming off a 38-37 league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
