North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), 33-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Pike upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to McComb (McComb, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. McComb lost 48-32 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Meridian, MS)

Next up, the Trojans play the Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Amite County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 41-31 league win over North Pike (Summit, MS).
