The Brodhead Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Waterloo Pirates to 50 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belleville for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 31. Brodhead will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hustisford (Hustisford, WI). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Hustisford was defeated by Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy (Madison, WI), 55-12, in a non-league contest.
