In Wednesday's non-league outing, the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) basketball squad beat the host Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR), by a count of 39-28.
The Redhawks (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Independence, OR). The Panthers go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Central defeated Putnam (Milwaukie, OR), 67-60, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Molalla for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29.
