The Thibodaux Tigers basketball team (Thibodaux, LA), was nudged 47-42 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA)
The Wildcats now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hahnville for a 5A District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Destrehan will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-35 league win over Terrebonne (Houma, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.
The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Newman was nudged by St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS), 58-47, in a non-league battle.
