Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), 38-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Presque Isle upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to play the Crusaders in a B North bout on Saturday, December 30. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 0-6. John Bapst Memorial lost 46-44 in their recent league bout against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)

Next up, the Hawks play the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a B North bout, on Friday, December 29. Hermon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 56-17 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
