The Lena-Winslow Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Morrison Mustangs to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Lena-Winslow will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-6.

The Mustangs (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers come into the Three Rivers - West contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Sherrard was nudged by Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
