Maine High School Basketball - Orono ripped by Penobscot Valley

The Penobscot Valley Howlers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Orono Riots to 21 in the Howlers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Howlers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland for a C North contest on Friday, December 29. Penobscot Valley will meet a Dragons team coming off a 50-37 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 4-2.
The Riots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Calais (Calais, ME). The Blue Devils enter the C North contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Calais triumphed over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME), 41-39, in a league contest.
