Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL), 65-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Neoga (Neoga, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Neoga won 52-48 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) in a Illini Prairie bout, on Thursday, January 4. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN).
