Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), saw River Forest's basketball squad knock off Wheeler by a tally of 52-33.

With the victory, River Forest improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Ingots host Whiting (Whiting, IN) to play the Oilers in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Oilers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Wheeler will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
