Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trabuco Hills upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Portola (Irvine, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Portola won 53-43 in their recent non-league bout against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA)

Next up, the Titans play the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Tesoro will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 53-43 non-league loss to Portola (Irvine, CA).
