Alabama High School Basketball - Locust Fork triumphant over Appalachian

December 27, 2024: Oneonta, AL 35121

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) and the host Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL), observed Locust Fork's basketball team overwhelm Appalachian by a score of 62-32.

The Hornets (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Cold Springs Eagles (Bremen, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Appalachian will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 52-40 league win over Winston County (Double Springs, AL).
