In Friday's non-league contest, the host Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets basketball team scored a good 52-32 triumph over the Auburn Maroons.

The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Red Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Fulton topped Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY), 82-81, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Maroons confront the Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Auburn will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Thunder go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Lowville (Lowville, NY).
