In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Mark's Lions basketball team scored a good 57-45 triumph over the Bishop Lynch Friars.
The Lions (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Cedar Hill topped Wylie East (Wylie, TX), 66-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Friars battle the Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Bishop Lynch will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Leopards go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 54-45 non-league win over Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM).
