In Friday's non-league contest, the host Brookline Warriors basketball team scored a big 70-49 triumph over the Brockton Boxers.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the Division 1 contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, La Salle Academy smashed Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 70-56, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Boxers battle the Quincy Presidents (Quincy, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Brockton will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Presidents go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA).
