With the victory, Woodland advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Richland (Essex, MO) to meet the Rebels in a Stoddard County battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 5-2.

The Bluejays now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell City for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28.
