The Monarchs (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawaiian Mission Academy (Honolulu, HI). The Knights come into the Interscholastic II challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Hawaiian Mission Academy was knocked off by Hanalani (Mililani, HI), 49-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the encounter the Kauai Red Raiders (Lihue, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Punahou Gold will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI).
