Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL), 53-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Edwards County advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-6. Carmi-White County won 54-47 in their recent non-league match against Gallatin County (Junction, IL)

The Foxes now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Our Rock Lutheran for a non-league match on Friday, January 10.
