Illinois High School Basketball - Grant Community nips Johnsburg

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Grant Community Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 72-65 triumph over the Johnsburg Skyhawks.

The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, WI). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Clinton was tipped by Laconia (Rosendale, WI), 79-61, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Skyhawks encounter the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Johnsburg will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
