Texas High School Basketball - Madisonville holds off Grapeland

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Madisonville Mustangs basketball team scored a close 62-59 triumph over the Grapeland Sandies.
The Mustangs (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Livingston was tipped by Hargrave (Huffman, TX), 110-57, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sandies confront the Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Grapeland will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 70-69 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX).
