The Messalonskee Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks to 41 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Camden Hills for a A North game on Monday, December 30. Messalonskee will play a Windjammers team coming off a 91-79 league win over Cony (Augusta, ME). The Windjammers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Skowhegan falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The River hawks travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to play the Tigers in a A North game on Thursday, January 2. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-3.
