In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ripley Vikings basketball team scored a close 55-51 win over the Ravenswood Red Devils.

The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record.

In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Ravenswood will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
