The Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) basketball were winner over the host Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA), 40-29 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Gauchos now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to American Canyon for a bout on Friday, January 3. Casa Grande will play a Wolves team coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Montgomery falls to 2-2 on the campaign.
