The Metuchen Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Brearley Bears to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bernards for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Metuchen will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 52-20 non-league win over Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Brearley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 2-1. Governor Livingston lost 38-30 in their recent non-league game against Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ)
