Kentucky High School Basketball - Carlisle County falls to Mayfield

The Carlisle County Comets basketball squad (Bardwell, KY), was outscored 51-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY)

With the victory, Mayfield advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Caldwell County (Princeton, KY) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, December 28. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-4.

The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record.
