The Jessieville Lions basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Atkins for a 3A Region 5 game on Friday, January 3. Jessieville will play a Red Devils team coming off a 42-30 league loss to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Central Arkansas Christian falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to England (England, AR) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Lions go into the game with a record of 8-5. England lost 70-57 in their recent non-league game against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR)
