The Effingham Hearts basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Charleston Trojans to 14 in the Hearts non-league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Charleston falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Trojans host Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to confront the Maroons in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Maroons go into the game with a record of 4-6. Champaign Central lost 58-36 in their recent league game against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL)
