The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) and the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), observed Community School of Davidson's basketball team overwhelm Pine Lake Prep by a score of 59-26.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Corvian Community was routed by Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC), 64-9, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pride encounter the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Pine Lake Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
