Illinois High School Basketball - Freeport routs Jefferson

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Freeport Pretzels basketball team scored a big 71-36 win over the Jefferson J-Hawks.

The Pretzels (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Lincoln smashed Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 51-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the J-Hawks battle the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 54-32 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).
