The Pinckneyville Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Greenville Comets to 26 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Father McGivney Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Pinckneyville will confront a Griffins team coming off a 91-22 non-league win over Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton (Elkville, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Greenville falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Sandoval (Sandoval, IL) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Blackhawks go into the game with a record of 8-3. Sandoval won 63-47 in their recent non-league game against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL)
