Ohio High School Basketball - Shawnee can't hold off Kenton Ridge

Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 35-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Kenton Ridge upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Southeastern Local (South Charleston, OH) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 8-2.

The Braves now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Union for a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River match on Monday, December 30. Shawnee will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-43 league win over Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
