New Jersey High School Basketball - Lacey Township knocks off Point Pleasant Beach

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lacey Township Lions basketball team scored a good 46-34 win over the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Central Regional dropped by Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ), 47-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Garnet Gulls battle the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Point Pleasant Beach will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 41-34 league win over Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
