Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect defeats St. Charles East

December 27, 2024: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056

The Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), 61-47 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Montini Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Prospect will play a Broncos team coming off a 48-42 non-league win over York (Elmhurst, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, St. Charles East falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Fighting saints travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 6-7. York lost 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL)
