The Cougars now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Guilford for a 3A Mid-State bout on Friday, January 3. Rockingham County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 51-15 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, South Stokes falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Sauras travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Granite Bears in a 1A Northwest bout on Friday, January 3. The Granite Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-6.
