In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Encinal Jets basketball team scored a big 69-28 triumph over the Concord Bears.

The Jets (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against San Marin (Novato, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, San Marin was trounced by Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA), 85-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Concord will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 49-25 non-league loss to Encinal (Alameda, CA).
