The R.A. Hubbard Chiefs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host East Lawrence Eagles to 40 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheffield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. R.A. Hubbard will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
The Eagles (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, AL). The Hawks come into the 3A Area 15 contest with a 3-11 record.
