Minnesota High School Basketball - Battle Lake can't hold off West Central Area

The West Central Area Knights basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Battle Lake Battlers to 66 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelican Rapids for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. West Central Area will battle a Vikings team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over New York Mills (New York Mills, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.

The Battlers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets enter the Freelance contest with a 4-0 record.
