The South Caldwell Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Bunker Hill Bears to 31 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Stephens for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. South Caldwell will battle a Indians team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Foard (Newton, NC). The Indians record now stands at 5-6.

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Foard was routed by St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
