The Marion Local Flyers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Celina Bulldogs to 41 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Flyers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapakoneta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Marion Local will meet a Redskins team coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Perry (Lima, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 3-6.

The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kenton (Kenton, OH). The Wildcats enter the Western Buckeye contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Kenton was defeated by Marion Harding (Marion, OH), 77-68, in a non-league contest.
