Texas High School Basketball - Olney topped by Coahoma

The Coahoma Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Olney Cubs to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jim Ned for a 3A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Coahoma will battle a Indians team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Indians record now stands at 12-8.

The Cubs (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Moran was defeated by Chico (Chico, TX), 75-21, in a non-league contest.
