Texas High School Basketball - Spring can't hold off Cypress Park

December 28, 2022: Spring, TX 77373

The Cypress Park Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Spring Lions to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deer Park for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Cypress Park will battle a Deer team coming off a 66-61 league win over Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Deer record now stands at 15-5.

The Lions (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals enter the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, MacArthur was nudged by Jordan (Fulshear, TX), 81-52, in a non-league contest.
