California High School Basketball - Vanguard College Prep nipped by Delta Charter

The Delta Charter Dragons tipped the visiting Vanguard College Prep Lions basketball team by a final score of 69-65 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Tioga Timberwolves (Groveland, CA) in a Mountain Valley League game, on Tuesday, January 3. Delta Charter will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Don Pedro (La Grange, CA).

The Lions (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Waterford (Waterford, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Waterford was nudged by Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA), 43-31, in a non-league battle.
