The Tomahawk Hatchets basketball team (Tomahawk, WI), was overwhelmed 66-45 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Fall River Pirates (Fall River, WI)
The Pirates now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randolph for a Trailways - West battle on Thursday, January 5.
The Hatchets (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Thunderbirds come into the Great Northern battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Lakeland trounced Flambeau (Tony, WI), 76-50, in a non-league battle.
