The West Cabarrus Wolverines routed the visiting Garinger Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 81-42 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 29. West Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC).
