With the win, Plains upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Spur (Spur, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Spur won 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Knox City (Knox City, TX)

Next up, the Owls play the Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Hale Center will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Chieftans go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Plains (Plains, TX).
